Windows browser profiles with per-profile proxy settings

[MuLogin](https://www.mulogin.com/) describes its antidetect browser as a way to run separate browser profiles, each with its own fingerprint settings, cookies and local storage. Its [proxy FAQ](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=37) makes a key distinction: the software itself has no proxy IP service, and users obtain proxies from a third party. The connection details for each profile therefore come from your chosen proxy provider.

## Match the browser and connection requirements

| Requirement | Where it comes from | What to check |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Run the desktop application | [Windows, 64-bit recommended](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=1148) | The requirements article lists Windows 11, 10, Server 2016, 8 and 7 and recommends x64 systems; macOS and Linux appear only as browser operating systems a profile can simulate. Review its CPU, memory and disk requirements before installing. |
| Separate browser workspaces | [MuLogin browser profiles](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=820) | The profile settings guide groups basic settings, navigator parameters and fingerprint protection separately from the proxy settings. A new profile does not supply a proxy IP. |
| Route a profile through a proxy | [Your proxy provider](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=605) | The provider supplies the address, port and any login user and password. MuLogin’s proxy guide lists HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxy types. |

For teams, the [main/sub-account instruction](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=188) describes sharing profiles with sub-accounts and a separate Proxy editor permission that lets a sub-account modify the proxy information in shared profiles.

## Documented proxy setup and checks

### 1. Create the profile

Follow the [profile settings guide](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=820) to name the profile and choose its browser type, operating system and fingerprint settings.

### 2. Enter the connection details

In Basic Configuration, open [Proxy settings](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=605). Select the proxy type that matches your provider and enter its IP address and port, plus the login user and password if your provider requires them.

### 3. Test the proxy and save

Click Test proxy information; detailed IP information means the test passed. Save the profile. For a failed test, MuLogin’s [troubleshooting article](https://www.mulogin.com/doc/en/?p=584) lists causes such as an incorrect proxy type or format, an unstable or expired IP, an exhausted balance and provider whitelist limits.

### 4. Verify inside the opened profile

Open the saved profile and use an IP-check page to inspect its outgoing address. An IP check does not establish destination-site acceptance or account safety.
