Customer terms

Updated: 26 October 2026 (2026-10-26)

These terms apply to the ipvolt customer service at ipvolt.com/beta: the dashboard, the API and the services you buy there. "ipvolt", "we" and "us" mean the individual or individuals who run ipvolt, reachable at hello@ipvolt.com. ipvolt is not yet a registered company: until one is formed, those individuals are the other party to these terms. We will give you their names and postal address on request. By signing in or buying a service, you accept these terms, the [Acceptable Use Policy](/acceptable-use), the [Payments and Refunds Policy](/refunds) and the [Privacy notice](/privacy).

## 1. Who can use ipvolt

- Access is by invitation. We create your account; you cannot register yourself.
- ipvolt is for business and professional use only; we do not offer it to consumers. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18, that you act for purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession and not as a consumer, and, if you use it for an organisation, that you may accept these terms for it.
- You may not use ipvolt if you, anyone who owns or controls you, or anyone you act for is listed under United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom or United States sanctions, or if you are located or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions under those regimes.

## 2. Your account

- You sign in with a username and password we issue. Keep them secret. You are responsible for activity under your account, including through API keys you create.
- You can change your password in the dashboard. If you forget it, contact support; we check that the request comes from you before issuing a new one.
- Tell us at hello@ipvolt.com straight away if you think your account or an API key has been compromised.

## 3. The services

**Mobile proxy (device rental).** You rent one dedicated mobile device connected to a carrier SIM for the period you choose (24 hours or 30 days), up to 20 devices per order. Each device offers HTTP and, for most devices, SOCKS5 access; the dashboard shows what each one supports. You rent a device, not specific IP addresses: when you rotate, the carrier assigns the address and may return the same one, and rotation can briefly interrupt traffic.

- Devices are supplied and operated by our infrastructure partner. The catalog shows current availability; a listing does not reserve a device or guarantee its price until you confirm an order.
- Rentals do not renew automatically. You can renew a device before it ends at the price quoted at that time. When a rental ends, the device is removed from your account and cannot be renewed; rent a new one to continue.

**Metered proxy.** Some accounts have an assigned proxy with a lifetime data allowance, a connection limit and a session length shown in the dashboard, and may be limited to approved destinations. Data counts against the allowance when it is sent through the proxy, including data a destination does not finally receive.

## 4. Availability

ipvolt is in early access. We work to keep it available, but we do not promise any uptime, speed or success rate, or that a website will accept traffic from it. Features may change or be withdrawn. If a change materially reduces a rental you have already paid for, we credit the affected unused part to your balance, pro rata by the hour, as the [Payments and Refunds Policy](/refunds) describes.

## 5. Prices and payment

- Prices are in US dollars and are fixed when you confirm an order. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases where you are based.
- You pay by adding prepaid balance to your account and spending it on services. Balance is service credit for ipvolt services. It is not a deposit or electronic money, earns no interest, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred to another customer. The [Payments and Refunds Policy](/refunds) explains how payments, balance and refunds work.

## 6. Acceptable use

You must follow the [Acceptable Use Policy](/acceptable-use). You are responsible for what you do through ipvolt, and for complying with the laws and the terms of the websites and services you access.

## 7. Suspension and closure

- We may suspend or close your account, and stop services you are using, if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if the law or our infrastructure partner requires it, or to protect ipvolt or others. Where reasonable and lawful, we tell you why first.
- While your account is suspended you cannot sign in, use API keys, create payments or place orders, and open metered proxy sessions are closed. Orders not yet sent to our partner are returned to your balance; orders already sent are checked and then charged or returned as the Payments and Refunds Policy describes. Rented devices may be stopped.
- You can ask us to close your account at any time at hello@ipvolt.com. Unused balance is not refunded when an account closes, except where the Payments and Refunds Policy or the law provides a refund.

## 8. Liability

- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, or for loss caused by websites blocking or limiting your traffic.
- Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount charged to your balance for services in the three months before the event that caused the claim. This limit does not reduce our duty to provide services you have paid for, or to make the credits and refunds the [Payments and Refunds Policy](/refunds) provides.

## 9. Your responsibility to us

If your use of ipvolt in breach of these terms or the law leads to a claim against us, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.

## 10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We post changes on this page with a new date at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner by law or for security. If you do not accept a change, you can close your account before it takes effect, and we will refund your unused balance as the [Payments and Refunds Policy](/refunds) describes.

## 11. Contact and disputes

Write to hello@ipvolt.com. If you have a complaint, tell us first; we aim to resolve it within 30 days.

## 12. General

- We may transfer these terms, and your balance, to a company we set up to run ipvolt. We will tell you before we do; your rights under these terms stay the same.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
- These terms are in English. You can save or print them from this page.
