Four Brazilian checks, one variable at a time.

Americanas and Shopee Brasil both work from the CEP a customer types, so fix the CEP, state and language before anything else. Limit proxied checks to your own service, authorized destinations, or a storefront's public, signed-out pages as its terms permit, by hand and at low volume; create no accounts, enter no personal or invented identity data such as a CPF, card or phone number, and place no orders. Bring in a Brazilian exit only when network location is the variable under test, and change one input at a time.

CEP-driven regional offers and shipping

Americanas uses the visitor's CEP to show offers for their region and to calculate shipping more precisely, and Shopee Brasil fills state, city and street from the CEP in its address form. Both take the CEP from the customer, so hold it fixed before you compare exits.

Keep fixed: Product, seller, quantity, a signed-out session and one approved CEP fixture, entered by hand. A second CEP is a test case of its own, run and logged apart from any exit change.
Record: Displayed offers, price, shipping charge, delivery estimate, the CEP in use and the capture time. If the CEP step asks you to sign in, stop and run the case on your own storefront.

Separate an offer that changed with the CEP from one that changed with the exit. Only the second is a network-location finding.

Store locators by state

Magazine Luiza's store locator has a list for each federative unit, 27 from Lojas Acre to Lojas Tocantins, covering the 26 states and the Distrito Federal that IBGE calls the Unidades da Federação. Its “Localizando lojas próximo a você” message suggests it may also try to locate the visitor, which can come from the browser rather than the exit; the page does not document which.

Keep fixed: The locator URL, browser language, time zone, cookie state and location permission (deny it, or set one emulated position and record it). Stay signed out.
Record: Any default state or nearby-store list shown, the store list for the explicitly chosen state, and the exit's returned state from a named geolocation service. A state list with no stores is a result, not an error.

Test the explicit state selection first. Then, if the locator shows a default, compare it for a Brazilian exit with no state chosen, and label a matching state as incidental unless the supplier documents state selection.

Google results in Brazil and your Shopping landing page

Google said in April 2025 that local results had been the same on google.com and country domains since 2017, and that it would gradually redirect country-code domains such as google.com.br to google.com, so google.com.br may open google.com. Merchant Center lists Brazil as a target country with the Brazilian real (BRL) and the Shopping tab available. Google Ads is separate: location targeting is a best effort from signals such as settings, devices and behavior, and language targeting reads the search term and the user's settings, so an opened results page says nothing about whether a campaign served.

Keep fixed: The query, the pt-BR interface language, a signed-out session, the device and location permission. Do not pin a country domain; google.com.br may redirect to google.com.
Record: Capture time, final URL, result URLs and visible features, the location Google reports with the results, and the currency on your own landing page.

pt-BR checkout inputs on your own storefront

Google's Play Console lists pt-BR and pt-PT as separate locales. If your storefront picks language from Accept-Language, a request through a Brazilian exit that sends pt-PT receives European Portuguese, which is a language-input result, not a network one. The CPF, administered by the Receita Federal, is unique and permanent for each citizen, so CPF tests belong on your own or an authorized staging storefront, never on a checkout you do not operate.

Two steps, one change each: First keep the Brazilian exit fixed and switch only the browser language between pt-BR and pt-PT; then keep the language fixed and switch only the exit between Brazil and Portugal.
Record: Language served, currency, whether the CPF field appears, payment methods shown, and the session identifier across the multi-step flow.

Check that your own storefront renders pt-BR, shows the CPF field where you expect it and lists the payment options you configured, including Pix if you offer it. Test checkout fields only on your own or an authorized staging storefront with documented fixtures.

Vivo, Claro, TIM and Algar: what each label means.

Anatel, Brazil's telecom regulator, links to the coverage maps of Claro, TIM, Vivo, Algar and Sercomtel, and its Q2 2026 competition report counted 276.4 million mobile accesses. The rows turn four of those names into a requirement a supplier can answer. They are public facts about the operators, not evidence that ipvolt or any proxy provider can supply their networks.

Its residential fiber and mobile offer covers cities in Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul. National B2B operations are not national consumer coverage.

Anatel's coverage data shows where a handset can expect radio service, per municipality and technology, and names no public address for a proxy request. Log four things apart: the carrier you asked for, the registry holder from the RIR record, the origin ASN and holder from a named routing lookup, with the lookup time, and the address family.

Before you compare mobile offers

Brazil mobile proxies: four things a label leaves open.

Decide how you will handle possible IPv4 sharing at operators, national roaming, MVNO hosting and coarse location data for mobile ranges. Each one needs its own question to the supplier.

Shared IPv4 on operator networks

In a 2014 tutorial, NIC.br's IPv6.br program said CGNAT at operators made IPv4 sharing unavoidable for some time during the IPv6 transition, and NIC.br's projects and development manager said in 2023 that shared IPv4 causes problems for applications. That describes operators generally, not mobile networks alone, so ask whether the exit you are offered sits behind CGNAT and which address, IPv4 or IPv6, your destination sees. If an offer is sold as dedicated, get in writing whether exclusivity applies to the SIM, to the proxy port you connect to, or to the public IPv4 address itself.

National roaming in small municipalities

Anatel makes national roaming mandatory in every municipality with fewer than 30,000 inhabitants, so a subscriber there may be served by another operator's network. The company on the SIM and the company whose antennas serve the handset can then differ; ask the supplier which one its carrier filter fixes.

Anatel regulates virtual operators under Resolução nº 777/2025; an Autorizada de Rede Virtual provides service through network sharing with a Prestadora Origem. A retail brand that is not a network operator may sit on one of them, so ask which host carries the sample.

Coarse mobile geolocation

Because one mobile address may serve phones spread over a large distance, MaxMind may give the country and state but omit city and postal-code data, and its data never identifies a household or street address. A Brazil result with no city is not by itself a defect, but it leaves a city requirement unmet; a state requirement passes only if the state field is returned and matches.

Confirm one Brazilian exit first
Before any storefront, send one request through the supplier's documented gateway to an endpoint you operate and note the address, its family and the state a named geolocation service returns. If the exit answers over both IPv4 and IPv6, look up each address.

A CEP entry followed by a product and shipping page takes several requests. Ask how long the supplier keeps one address, and keep it for the whole flow so a changed offer cannot come from a changed exit.

What does a Brazil proxy prove on its own?

Only that the service you test places the exit in Brazil, once you have checked the supplier's label against that service's location source. Which of the 27 federative units the exit sits in, whether access is mobile or fixed residential, and whether Vivo, Claro, TIM or Algar carried it are separate claims to specify and evidence.

Does a Brazilian exit change the CEP or CPF a site sees?

No. The CEP is an eight-digit postal code the customer enters, and the CPF is the Receita Federal's number for one person, unique and permanent for each citizen. Both come from the customer; if a site pre-fills a region from the network address, test that default as a separate input.

Why does my Brazilian mobile exit show no city?

One mobile address may serve phones spread over a large distance, and MaxMind may then omit city and postal-code data. That is not by itself a defect, but it leaves a city requirement unmet, and a state requirement passes only when the returned state field matches; test storefront state behavior with an explicit state or CEP input.

Does a Vivo or TIM label guarantee that network carried the connection?

Not on its own. Anatel authorizes MVNOs to share a host operator's network and makes national roaming mandatory in municipalities under 30,000 inhabitants, so a label may name the subscription while another company's network carries the traffic. Get the supplier to say which layer its selector fixes.

How should I set the browser time zone for a Brazil test?

Brazilian legal time has four zones under Lei nº 12.876/2013, and the Observatório Nacional publishes the legal time for each. Look up the zone for the place your test case represents, set it explicitly and record it; the exit does not set it for you.

Is ipvolt Brazil access open yet?
