What would another exit change?

Write the expected result before comparing locations. Keep a supplier's description, your observations and the acceptance decision in separate fields.

Country, city or a named network

If your application checks only whether an IP is classified as Australian, make AU the location condition. Add a city or network condition only when the application actually reads it. A supplier's Australia label still needs to be checked against the rule your test uses.

Define the pass: Name the application rule, expected country or network value, and the classification source or version it uses. Record the IP your owned destination sees and the time of the check.
Keep fixed: Use the same entry URL, account state, browser locale, location permission and application fixture when comparing exits.

If a required city or network field is missing, leave that requirement unverified. A passing country check does not fill it in.

The same address for a journey, or exclusive use

Specify how long a journey must keep one public IP and what should happen after reconnecting. Record address continuity separately from cookies and login state. Seeing the same IP repeatedly does not establish that nobody else uses it.

Record: Required duration and actions, timestamped destination-observed IPs, any change, and the supplier's session terms.
If exclusivity matters: Ask whether exclusive use covers the public IP, the endpoint or a session, who else may share it, and how long the commitment lasts.

Accept only the conditions the supplied evidence resolves. Stability observations and exclusivity terms are different evidence.

A local clock or schedule looks wrong

Playwright configures the browser's timezone separately from the test runner. For a browser-rendered local-time failure, isolate that setting at a fixed UTC instant before requesting another Australian exit.

The linked guide tests Sydney, Brisbane, Broken Hill and Lord Howe in a local fixture. It needs no proxy and does not verify Australian IP geography.

What does an nbn label establish?

nbn and Aussie Broadband document different parts of the access and public-IP picture. Use these distinctions when a network or sharing requirement affects your acceptance decision.

An unshared public IPv4	Aussie Broadband's support page says CGNAT is typically enabled on its broadband services and the public IP is often shared. It says services with a static IP are automatically opted out of CGNAT. Aussie Broadband: CGNAT and static-IP exception	Do not treat residential access as proof of an unshared public IPv4. If you require exclusive use, request that commitment from the proxy supplier; this retailer's CGNAT exception does not establish the terms of a proxy pool.

Hypothetical brief: Australian country classification and one public IPv4 throughout a 15-minute test journey, with no named-operator or exclusivity requirement. A reply saying only 'Australian nbn, sticky' leaves the classification and duration unverified. Request evidence for those two conditions. If both pass, an additional retail-provider requirement would answer a different question. The Aussie Broadband example is one retailer's published policy, not a measure of all Australian access.

Does nbn mean a specific ISP or an exclusive IP?

Neither follows from the label alone. nbn describes wholesale access delivered through provider pathways. Ask separately for the retail provider, observed IP-network evidence and any public-IP exclusivity commitment. The table above explains which evidence answers each requirement.

Do I need separate Sydney and Brisbane exits?

Add both only if their difference matters to the application's IP-location rule. For browser clock behavior, use separate timezone settings at fixed UTC instants in the linked guide. This page does not establish that either city is available from ipvolt.

Has this page tested Australian proxies?

No. The acceptance method is a synthesis of the cited network documentation, not a supplier trial. The linked guide's executed test is a synthetic local browser fixture. No Australian endpoint, carrier inventory, latency or success rate was measured.
